Here are some absolute must-haves for a lovely beach day with your little one(s).
Summer is on the way! Time to go to the beach. Beach days are delightful with small children, but they can also be quite a hassle. After all, there's so much you need to pack. Here are a few must-haves to make sure you have a relaxed and happy beach day.

A proper bag
Strolling through the dunes with a child in your arms is great, but it can be rather heavy, too. That's why you should bring a proper shoulder bag for all the things you need at the beach. That way, you've got your hands free to carry your little one or hold their hand. On top of that, a nice beach bag is the perfect finishing touch for your beach outfit, and a great accessory for a visit to a terrace afterwards. How about our new Mombags? Sun protection
You should certainly not forget to pack waterproof sunscreen! Make sure to apply some before you leave home, though, so it's been properly absorbed by the time you arrive at the beach. It's also a good idea to set a few alarms on your phone so you won't forget to apply a new coat of sunscreen.

Hours of fun!
As a parent, it's great to swim with your little one, but so is relaxing under an umbrella. Make sure to bring plenty of beach toys, so your little one can keep themselves entertained. After all, nothing beats building sandcastles! Then again, a beach ice cream shop is pretty great as well! Be careful though: you can lose your little one in the blink of an eye. That's why you should make sure your child always has your mobile phone number on a wristband or written on their arm. That way, if you lose your little one after all, people can reach you quickly!

Food and drinks
There are plenty of spots to buy ice cream and fries at the beach, but you'll also want to enjoy a healthy snack from time to time. Back in the car in a jiffy!
After a delightful day at the beach, everyone has to go home to wash all the sand and sunscreen from their little bodies. It's a good idea to bring some easy, comfy clothes that they can wear over their swimwear. Clothes and sand and sunscreen are not a good match, after all.
