8x Road trip essentials when traveling with a baby

Now that the holiday period has arrived, we are going out for road trips more often. Whether you're planning a day of fun at the beach or a visit to family or friends, you should always be prepared when going for a long drive. We made this list of eight essentials you need when travelling with a baby. 

1. Changing pad
With a changing pad you can change or dress your little one anywhere. The inside of the mat has handy pockets to store nappies and baby wipes.

2. Nappy pouch
You can never bring too many diapers. Keep them in our nappy pouch and avoid nappies scattering around in your bag.

3. Toiletry bag
A handy little toiletry bag to keep diaper rash cream, a hairbrush or an extra pacifier for on the road.

4. Car seat cover
It’s inevitable, with a baby on board you will have spills and mess. No problem if the car seat has a colourful cover. Our cover fits most car seats and can be easily washed in the washing machine. It is made of soft cotton and is moisture absorbent.

5. Stroller toy chain
A stroller toy chain is easy to attach to a car seat and provides lots of fun and entertainment on the road thanks to the rattle, the mirror and the squeaky and crinkly toys.

6. Swaddle
Our swaddle is a multifunctional absorbent cloth and that makes it perfect for a long drive in the car. Use the cloth when nurturing your baby to create a peaceful environment, or put it over your shoulder afterwards. In addition you can use the breathable cloth as a towel for the beach or as sun protection. But also to create shadow by fixing it on the car window.

7. Extra set of clothes
Your baby might have spilled milk or even worse, your stop was too late for a diaper change! These things happen and that is why you should always bring an extra set of clothes. Even better, two sets! 

8. Toys
A cuddly stuffed animal or booklet will help entertain your child during a car drive and should definitely be on your list of things to pack.
