Flowers & Butterflies Photo collage

The smell of wild flowers, blooming blossoms and fresh grass. The sound of chirping songbirds and crickets. Bring the atmosphere of a sunlit garden full of beautiful grasses, frivolous flowers and butterflies into your home. 

With this DIY, you can make sure your favourite photo gets a beautiful spot in a cute Flowers & Butterflies room. Create your own work of art featuring your most wonderful memory, some dried flowers and a (silk) butterfly.

What do you need:
Various dried flowers
A dried butterfly (available from many nature museums)
Photo frame with glass back
1 or 2 beautiful (black-and-white) photos
 
Pick a photo that is smaller than your frame and position it in the middle of the frame. If necessary, you can use a drop of glue to attach the photo. That way, it will stay in place nicely. Carefully take the dried butterly and place it over the top right corner of the photo, at an angle.

Pick a few small, dried flowers, preferably in colours that match your interior, and place them around the photo in a decorative pattern. Tightly close the frame to complete your romantic work of art!

Tip: instead of a photo, you could also frame your child's birth card.
